Marilyn,
Thanks to you too. I got so many resources from your presentation. It was a bit overwhelming. I was so impressed. Hope all is going well. I read some of your comments on the ASTE Blogsite. Are you taking it for credit? I love reading other's philosophical points of views. Lots of good food for thought.
I'm looking for a 5th grade class from Alaska to collaborate with a 5th grade class at my school in Sharon, MA. The class here will be studying global warming and the the plight of the polar bears. Do you know of anyone who might be interested?
Hi Marilyn, thanks for getting back. If you could still get the students or a student to do the voki task that would be great. Sharon ps - remember to create an account this time rather than just go straight to create :)
HI Marilyn, unfortunately the code you sent is not the one for the wiki. If you select the option 'other', not JAVA, then send the code - it is quite big.
A co-teacher in Brevig, Jesse Reisenberger, does most of the VOTW projects (and I stumble along trying to help her when she needs it). I love the whole monthly task format, and hearing the voices from around the world.
If you are interested, we have a small group of teachers trying to collect "tech in the classroom" info and resources at http://alaska20.ning.com/ . Please join us if you've a mind to!

It was nice to meet you in person.
