Instructions for May task - the last task this year

Dear, Voices of the World

Sorry for being so late with our instructions for the last task. We've been discussing what to do, and here is what we came up with:

We will celebrate ourselves, with our 2 year of anniversary/birthday:

Use MyPlick (we don't want to give you extra work with a new tool)

Make three photos/illustration for birthday, real cakes would be really nice;-))

Here are the words we all are suppose to say in our native language:

First you make your first slide with your school/flag - and say who you are (as usual); name of school, location, then you add three slides for the task:

Slide one: Happy anniversary - Slide two: 2 years of VOTW - slide three: Congratulations all!
It would be very nice if you could manage to say the words "in the rythm of birthday song each country has"

Since this is the last task, and we're late with the instructions, you'll get some more time to do it. But if you all could manage to do it wihtin the 12th. of June, since some countries start their vacation early, the pupils can watch the contributions before they leave school for the summer.

Hello from Greece dear Laurie..
As Eva said this project is coming soon to its end.. But you have enough options if you want to work like this.. you may contact some member teachers for a peer collaboration... you may look at the data base of the European e-twinning where hundrets of teachers have similar interests like you...you may keep an eye here who knows maybe next year something new come up...:-)) in the meantime it would be Great if you could practice your class by doing this very last task ..

What a shame. If you want to undetake a similar project I am keen to be involved. I need a simple format like VOTW as not with each class for too long each week for this year. Love the idea of sharing cultural songs, trafitions parts of our culture simply. If you want to get intouch via email [e-mail].

I'm sorry to say that May task is the last in the project this year. This is the second year of VOTW, and we've just changed the administrator. The author/creator of the project become very busy in her new job, and let four of us participants run the project the rest of the school year. I don't know if Sharon (the creator of the project) has plans for next year - but if not, I'm keen to start with a very similar project.
Please, take a peep into the Ning and see what other responds!

Hi

Just joined VOTW. It says this the last project for te year. I am in New Zealand so school term s a bit different. Just coming into winter here. Do you begin again when you go back to school after summer break or is that it for the year. I would really like to invove some of our students but need to know if this is on going
