This month I asked what you would prefer, talking or singing. There was no winner so I decided to go with talking. There was some feedback and I am going with Eva's suggestion to do numbers which is nice and simple for all and is a great way to learn how to say a number in another language without having to bother with sentences.

For all those eager teachers waiting for January's task - here it is. This month we are going to use VoiceThread to communicate. The theme is customs this month and thought long and hard as to how we can do this without the language becoming a barrier.
There are two parts to the task so follow the instructions carefully to ensure success.

quite a few have asked how to record this month's task. The easiest way is to open Audacity and select project then import the Twinkle track - MP3.
Press the record button and get children to sing along - remember you have an introduction so there is time. A new track will appear underneath.
You can balance the backing track by highlighting it then selecting effects - amplify then reduce the volume.
Save by exporting as MP3
