Dear, Voices of the World
Sorry for being so late with our instructions for the last task. We've been discussing what to do, and here is what we came up with:
We will celebrate ourselves, with our 2 year of anniversary/birthday:
Use MyPlick (we don't want to give you extra work with a new tool)
Make three photos/illustration for birthday, real cakes would be really nice;-))
Here are the words we all are suppose to say in our native language:

As 2009 is the Year of Astronomy, this month task is to do an activity concerning this.
You create a video the way you like, and be as creative you can using various ‘objects, materials’ presenting and saying the 9 planets mixed up with your kids favorite music –or creating your own!- beginning from the closer to the Sun planet.
(since 2006.. the planets are 8 + 1 dwarf planet)
You are free to choose the way you make your video, and where to upload it (e.g. Google Video, Teacher Tube).

Hello Voices of the World!
The task for March is to read in the names of all participating countries (and states for the partners in USA) - illustrate as you want, but nice if you tries to "catch the spirit" of the spesific country (e.g. for Greece; sunny, beaches, typical tourist target - at least for us up in the north - let the children draw something the associate with the different countries/states).
Put your illustrations into PowerPoint (both versions 2003/2007 are ok to use, if… Continue
Well here we are at the last task until many of us break off for our summer holidays.
The task is a little bit different but still on the idea of using our voices.
Here it is and I hope you like it.
You are allowed to use any of the tools we have used from the previous tasks that support pictures which means 'voki' is out. Choose the tool that you think was the easiest to you and gave the best results.
Gather pictures of your school and location using a camera.

March's task is now ready for you all to get your teeth into. What we need to make this month is a slideshow with pictures and sound on the theme - 'Days Of The Week'.
To see what the product will look like you can view the one I made earlier with the children below:
It's nearly a month late, but finally we have our Voicethread for the January task!
Although we only began our school year on January 30, we were determined to participate in the January task. Little did we know that we would be faced with quite a few challenges -
the biggest being a school server on the brink of a meltdown! Identifying what makes us 'Australian' was challenging for 6 year olds. Nominating a 'sport' made for some lively discussion and the 'food'… Continue

Voices Of The World was given the eTwinning European Award/Label in January which now gives us the three awards you can get through the eTwinning organinsation. These awards/labels are in recognition of excellent work between schools around the world.
Well done everyone as this could not have happened if we all did not work… Continue
We've finished our Voicethread, a little behind schedule for technical reasons (like Voicethread not recording and the server crashing!) but, as the Spanish say 'Más vale tarde que nunca' - Better late than never!
And here it is. Thanks to Rebecca, Sarah and Millie for the voices and Elsie and Michael for the drawings.
This month I asked what you would prefer, talking or singing. There was no winner so I decided to go with talking. There was some feedback and I am going with Eva's suggestion to do numbers which is nice and simple for all and is a great way to learn how to say a number in another language without having to bother with sentences.
Each month I like to use a different application so this month we are going to use Photostory 3 whi
For all those eager teachers waiting for January's task - here it is. This month we are going to use VoiceThread to communicate. The theme is customs this month and thought long and hard as to how we can do this without the language becoming a barrier.
There are two parts to the task so follow the instructions carefully to ensure success.
1. Go to VoiceThread and create an account for you school. If you already have one that is fine feel free
